We, Ti Anode Fabricators Pvt Ltd, India - do design, manufacture, test, supply & install the Electrolyzers and its spares for Cl2 Production, Single electrolyzer having the production capacity of minimum 500 grams / Hr. to 7600 grams / Hr. To achieve the higher capacity in the chlorination plant, we use the multifold electrolyzer assembly.

 

 

 

 

Bi-polar, Mono-polar & Reverse polarization cell are in our scope. In normal, we design the Electrolyzers, having the power consumption of 3.5 to 4.0 Kwh / kg of available chlorine, with the coating (DSA activation) life guarantee of 5 years. Reverse polarization cells are guaranteed up to

 2.0 years, or depend on the operating conditions.

 

Efficient production of sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) is optimized by Tiaano’s unique design utilizing multiple electrode assembly. For larger system capacities, multi sodium Hypochlorite electrolytic cells are to be arranged side-by-side. NaOCl is to produce on-site as needed at relatively low concentrations, assuring longer halflife than commercial hypo-chlorite (bleach).

  •   It is the direct replacement for sanilec/

sanichlor & other equipments mfd. to provide onsite electrolysis.

  •  Polished Hastelloy ‘C’ (nickel alloy)

cathode reduces energy consumption by

10%. Titanium cathode installations will reduce the capital investment.

 

 

Scope

􀁡Electrode Block (anode & cathodes) with electrical conductors, either new or replacement / refurbishment.

􀁡PVC / CPVC Electrolyzer body.

􀁡Clear acrylic cell cover for visual inspection.on.

Anodes: Dimensionally stable anodes, of expanded titanium metal with platinum group precious metal oxide coating. Anodes are supplied with PVDF spacers to maintain 2.5 mm inter electrode gap.

Cathodes: Polished Hastelloy ‘C’ cathodes are for excellent corrosion resistance to the seawater / hypochlorite & reduction of deposition rate, as compared to standard titanium cathodes. Not subject to hydrogen embitterment, as are titanium cathodes. Titanium cathodes installation will reduce the capital investment.

 

Design: Each cell is Monopolar in design and comes standard as one, three and six cells per electrolyzer. This cell arrangement provides maximum flexibility for circuit configuration.

Shell for Electrolyzer: PVC / CPVC with ultraviolet stabilizer for good corrosion resistance and outdoor stability. Inlet and Outlet flange are integrally molded for positive sealing to seawater piping. Clear acrylic cell cover is for visual inspection of the electrolyzer internal components.

Gaskets: Viton / Silicon / EPDM Gaskets and ‘O’ rings used around conductors; and or seals over the electrolyzer cover to the body. These gasket types have demonstrated long life and excellent sealing properties.

 

Hardware: Hardware used in wet seawater is made from titanium, as per ASTM B 348 Gr.2 material and external hardware are made from silicon-bronze alloy.

General Cell Maintenance: All cells require cleaning. Acid cleaning must be carried out before the calcium buildup within the cell housing becomes one big block. Left for too long, it will do two things.

Break the cell housing.

Shorten the cell life.

 Using a diluted solution of hydrochloric acid and water can do cleaning. The dilution of acid to water should be 1 (one) part acid and 8 (eight) parts water, mixed in a separate container, then poured into your cell cleaning container. The cell cleaning process can take between 15 minutes and a few hours, depending on how much scale is on the cell. The cell must be completely free of any scale and rinsed in clean water by Jet (high pressure). On average, the cell will need to be cleaned every four weeks.
